We utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) to power food scanning, food catalog search, and AI Coach interactions. When any of these features process your data, the following applies:

  • Relevant data (food item details, catalog search queries, or AI Coach questions) is temporarily sent to our LLM service providers for analysis
  • No personally identifiable information is attached to these requests
  • Results are returned and stored securely in your account
  • We follow standard security practices for all data transmission

Our use of these technologies follows industry best practices for privacy and security. We do not use this information to identify individual users or build profiles of user behavior beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

Because your data is stored in your account, it persists across devices and app reinstalls. Deleting the app does not delete your account or data — you must request account deletion through app settings.
